Job Description: It is a Lead IT Systems Administrator role in Pleasant Prairie, WI (1st choice) or Waukegan, IL (2nd choice). Onsite 100%.

SOC experience, Azure AD / Entra ID, Beyond Trust, Proofpoint, Zscaler, Qradar, SIEM and ticket management experience. 

This is a leadership role where they will lead and manage a small team of more junior Security Analysts. Prior Lead experience is NOT required. 

LEAD - leadership role / management role. looking for someone who has specific experience in ProofPoint, SentinelOne no. 3, QRadar, ZScalar no. 3, BeyondTrust no .1, Azure Active Directory no. 2 (hurting in this area) and wide breadth of knowledge in this area. Operations to the support staff, focusing on security, risk management and controls that go along with it.

Experience Level – experienced… 7 years min overall. Focus on technical experience.
9 people on the team. this person would report to one of the Team Leads to help manage the team.

Job Description
Summary
Manage and support the enterprise, by providing leadership for the IT Security operations and support areas, with expertise in overall best practices for enterprise level IT Security disciplines. Providing support for research and evaluation of recent technologies. 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• 50% - Provide leadership to the IT Security operations and support staff for the secure operation of the enterprise, focusing on security components, risk management, and security controls
• 20% - Responsible for technical guidance of IT Security requests, and provide prioritization for work that can span a broad range of technologies and/or business functions
• 10% - Acts as a mentor for support staff and administrators on operational and support requests, providing technical direction for IT Security projects where appropriate
• 10% - Work with enterprise architects, network engineers, and developers to design optimal security standards and procedures for practices for supporting new and existing business processes / applications
• 10% - Mitigate security risks associated with projects, which have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business
• Supporting Functions:
• Communicate technical application security concepts to business users, developers, architects, managers, and primarily to the IT Security support staff
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the ongoing IT Security support and operations areas, and assign work as appropriate to IT Security support staff
• Provide detailed risk and remediation guidelines, as well as manage remediation activities in the IT Security support areas, including requirements for incident response
• Ability to interact with technical managers and development teams to articulate requirements and processes while collaborating on design options, implementation, testing and user acceptance
• Demonstrated ability to develop metrics, perform critical analysis, and develop executive decision support content
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.

Qualifications

Education

Required or preferred

Bachelors

Preferred (Required to be considered for FTEE role)

Experience:

•              5+ years’ experience in IT in large to enterprise level organizations

•              2+ years’ experience in IT Security in large to enterprise level organizations

•              CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), Security+, or related information security certifications are preferred

•              Experience in PCI compliance, or similar compliance frameworks

•              Familiarity with enterprise level network architecture and topologies

•              Experience with Cloud and hybrid Cloud / On-premise security designs

•              Experience in a large enterprise corporate environment

Competencies/Skills:

•              Bachelor's Degree required or relevant experience preferred

•              Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•              Requires travel to branch and international locations

•              Regular and reliable attendance.
