Are you an infrastructure architect looking to drive large-scale transformation? Cirrus Logic is seeking a Senior Information Systems Engineer to own the backbone of our global corporate IT infrastructure. This is not just a "keep the lights on" role; you will be the technical lead responsible for the architecture, scalability, and security of our server and storage environments. In this high-impact position, you will work autonomously to innovate, automate, and evolve the systems that empower our global teams to do their best work.
Responsibilities
  • Architect & Innovate: Drive new infrastructure technologies into production. Act as the primary technical lead for identifying gaps in our environment and independently owning the strategy from identification through implementation.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead the reliability and performance of our global server and storage ecosystem. Serve as the senior technical escalation point, providing mentorship to junior engineers and elevating the team's collective expertise.
  • Automation-First Culture: Champion modern DevOps practices. Continuously evolve our processes by building robust automation and scripting to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Partner with global IT cross-functional teams to define best practices, implement robust solutions, and stay ahead of emerging vulnerabilities and security threats.
  • Technical Stewardship: Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including policies, procedures, and architectural KB articles that ensure consistency across the global IT organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience with Windows Server administration (ADDS, GPO, DHCP, DNS, ADCS).
  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-grade SAN configurations (Pure Storage/EverPure).
  • 5+ years of experience with advanced hypervisor platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, Nutanix).
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in datacenter and colocation environments.
  • 5+ years of scripting proficiency (PowerShell, Python) applied to infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with Identity Management solutions (such as Entra ID) and SAML.
  • Thorough understanding of HA environments across all platforms.
  • Recent involvement with company-wide BCDR projects.
  • A "solve-it-once" mindset: You love finding the root cause rather than just applying a patch.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for knowledge transfer and mentorship.

  • Experience with Prometheus, Splunk or alternative monitoring solutions
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Experience with Automation Tools (Azure Automation, Ansible, Terraform, etc)
