Job Description Graphic Designer / Media Designer (Executive Visual Storytelling) Location: Preferred: San Antonio, TX or Charlotte, NC Remote: Possible for an exceptional candidate Duration: 6 month Contract - possible extension Compensation: $28-30/Hr all resumes MUST have portfolio link Overview We are seeking a highly creative Graphic Designer / Media Designer to support executive communications, visual storytelling, and strategic presentation development within a fast-paced corporate environment. This is not a traditional marketing or advertising design role. The primary focus is transforming complex business, technology, risk, compliance, and strategic initiatives into clear, concise, and visually compelling executive-level communications.

The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller who can take ideas ranging from rough concepts to fully developed content and translate them into polished presentations, storyboards, infographics, and executive-ready visual narratives. What the Team Needs Most Primary Focus: Executive Visual Storytelling Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to: Transform complex information into clear, compelling visual narratives Develop presentation storyboards and communication flows Create executive-level presentations and visual communications Design infographics and visual representations of strategic concepts Translate abstract ideas into understandable graphics and illustrations Simplify highly complex business and technical information for leadership audiences Bonus Experience While not required, experience in the following areas is highly valued: Technology organizations Financial services environments Risk management or compliance organizations Technology transformation initiatives Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts Emerging technology programs Domain knowledge is considered a bonus; storytelling and visual communication expertise remain the top priorities. Key Responsibilities Design and develop executive-level presentations, visual communications, and strategic messaging materials Build storyboards and presentation flows that effectively communicate business objectives Create infographics, diagrams, illustrations, and visual artifacts supporting leadership initiatives Translate technical, risk-related, operational, and strategic concepts into visually engaging content Partner with leadership, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to develop communication strategies Create professional presentation materials for executive leadership, chief officers, and board-level audiences Develop creative concepts while maintaining alignment with corporate branding standards Present design concepts and incorporate stakeholder feedback into final deliverables Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-changing environment Support urgent requests and short-turnaround executive communications Maintain organized design assets, artwork files, and project documentation Ensure consistency with branding, visual identity standards, approved fonts, and corporate color palettes Typical Day-to-Day Activities Creating executive presentations Building storyboards from business concepts Designing visual narratives and communication flows Producing infographics and visual representations of complex information Supporting leadership communications initiatives Translating technical and business content into executive-friendly visuals Managing multiple priorities with changing requirements and deadlines Target Audiences Materials developed in this role may support communications for: Senior Executives Executive Leadership Teams Chief Officers CEO-Level Presentations Board-Level Presentations The designer will not typically present content but will be responsible for creating the visual story and supporting materials.
