CareerNation is a dynamic and growing healthcare staffing firm that partners with clinics, nursing homes, home health agencies, and other medical facilities to provide exceptional healthcare professionals-CNA, LPN, RN, and more-on a per diem, contract, temp-to-perm, and direct hire basis. We are a certified MBE and SBA 8(a) firm with a national footprint and a commitment to high-impact, client-focused staffing.
Role Overview:
We're seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead our sales and client acquisition efforts. This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role ideal for someone with strong sales instincts, healthcare industry knowledge, or previous experience in staffing/recruiting.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and build relationships with decision-makers at healthcare facilities (e.g., HR Directors, DONs, Staffing Coordinators).
- Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and networking events.
- Understand client staffing challenges and position CareerNation's solutions effectively.
- Set up and lead introductory calls and presentations with prospective clients.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of active opportunities.
- Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to fulfill client needs.
- Maintain records in CRM (HubSpot) and provide weekly reporting on outreach and pipeline progress.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in business development, healthcare staffing, healthcare sales, or healthcare operations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Self-motivated, organized, and resourceful-able to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
- Must be comfortable with cold outreach, lead generation, and managing full sales cycle.
