Job description

Manager, Social Distribution & Syndication

Do Good Crew (Podcast Newsletter Social Live Experiences)

Overview

Do Good Crew is seeking a sharp, systems-oriented Manager of Social Distribution & Syndication to own the operational engine behind our content's reach. This is a role for someone who geeks out on platform mechanics, scheduling logic, and distribution strategy - and who understands that getting the right content to the right audience at the right time is itself a creative act.

You will manage the publishing, scheduling, and cross-platform syndication of all content across David Begnaud, Do Good Crew, and The Person Who Believed In Me social accounts. You'll work closely with our creative and editorial teams to ensure every piece of content is optimized, formatted correctly, and distributed for maximum reach and monetization performance.

What This Person Will Drive

1. Content Distribution & Publishing

  • Own the daily publishing cadence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms for all three accounts
  • Schedule, post, and manage content across all platforms using native tools and third-party scheduling software
  • Ensure all content is formatted correctly for each platform - aspect ratios, captions, hashtags, tags, and metadata
  • Maintain and manage content calendars in coordination with the creative team

2. Platform Optimization & Syndication

  • Maximize organic reach through deep knowledge of platform algorithms, posting windows, and distribution mechanics
  • Manage YouTube metadata including titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and chapter markers to optimize search and suggested performance
  • Oversee Facebook distribution strategy including Reels boosting, cross-posting, and ad revenue optimization
  • Identify syndication and cross-posting opportunities to amplify content across platforms and partners

3. Monetization Operations

  • Manage and optimize Facebook Ad Revenue, YouTube monetization settings, and platform creator programs
  • Monitor CPM trends, revenue performance, and monetization eligibility across all accounts
  • Flag and resolve any monetization issues including copyright claims, policy flags, or eligibility gaps
  • Track and report on platform revenue KPIs weekly

4. Analytics & Reporting

  • Own weekly performance reporting across all accounts - follower growth, reach, engagement, video views, and revenue
  • Maintain a live performance dashboard accessible to leadership
  • Use data to make recommendations on posting cadence, content formats, and platform prioritization
  • Monitor competitor and industry benchmarks to keep Do Good Crew's distribution strategy ahead of the curve

5. Systems & Workflow

  • Build and maintain airtight publishing workflows and SOPs that allow the team to operate at scale
  • Coordinate asset handoffs between editors, producers, and the social team to ensure on-time publishing
  • Manage file organization and asset libraries for all social-ready content

Ideal Background

  • 3-5+ years in social media management, content distribution, or digital publishing
  • Expert-level knowledge of YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Studio, and scheduling tools
  • Familiarity with social tracking softwares like Social Status, Hootsuite or Sprout Social
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, monetization programs, and distribution mechanics across Meta, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple social accounts simultaneously with consistent publishing cadence
  • Strong analytical skills - comfortable in spreadsheets, dashboards, and performance data
  • Highly organized, process-driven, and detail-oriented
  • Experience working with or for a creator, media brand, or digital publisher preferred
  • Major bonus points for experience using AI to streamline processes and eliminate time consuming tasks

Core Competencies

Platform Expert - You know every lever inside YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, and TikTok Studio.

Systems Thinker - You build workflows that don't break. You think in checklists and repeatable processes that scale.

Data-Driven - You let performance data guide decisions. You know what the numbers mean and how to act on them.

Reliable Executor - Content goes out on time, every time. You take ownership of the publishing calendar.
AI Forward - You are relentlessly curious about how to use AI tools to make your life easier.

What Makes Someone Exceptional in This Role

  • Has managed distribution across 3+ simultaneous social accounts for a creator or media brand
  • Has directly grown platform ad revenue through optimization - not just audience growth
  • Understands the interplay between content quality, metadata, and algorithmic distribution
  • Has built reporting systems from scratch that leadership actually uses

Contract Details

  • Full-time, in-person (Sherman Oaks, CA)
  • $65,000 – $70,000
