Join the team at YOT Bar & Kitchen as a Food Runner, where you'll play an essential role in creating a seamless dining experience for our guests. As a Food Runner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. You'll be responsible for delivering our mouthwatering dishes to our guests with speed and precision, while providing exceptional service and creating memorable moments. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and dedication to teamwork will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Responsibilities
  • Exude energy and enthusiasm as you deliver food orders to our guests, ensuring prompt and accurate service.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with our kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth flow of food delivery and exceptional guest experience.
  • Provide attentive and friendly service, going above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.
  • Take pride in maintaining a clean and organized work station and dining area.
  • Be knowledgeable about our menu offerings and ingredients, able to answer guest inquiries and make recommendations.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Qualifications
  • If running drinks, must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages and must be certified in (or able to become certified in) responsible alcohol service in accordance with state or local laws
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High energy and stamina. Able to work within a fast-paced, highly mobile environment
  • Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work
  • Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays
  • Able to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day; able to climb flights of stairs
  • Ability to learn menu items and service procedures.
  • Ability to take direction and to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • This position will spend 100% of the time standing and walking.
