Overview
Join the team at YOT Bar & Kitchen as a Barback, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of the bar. Your primary responsibility will be to assist bartenders and ensure that they have everything that is needed to provide efficient and high-quality service to customers. Your attention to detail, efficiency, and dedication to teamwork will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Responsibilities
  • Keep the bar stocked with drinks, mixers, and supplies for bartenders.
  • Prepare garnishes and set up stations before opening.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
  • Assist bartenders during busy times by fetching ingredients and helping with drink preparation.
  • Wash glassware and utensils as needed.
  • Maintain bar equipment and report issues if they arise.
  • Dispose of waste and keep the area tidy.

Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills to manage the bar area efficiently, keeping supplies well-stocked and accessible.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, anticipating the needs of the bartenders and adapting to changing demands.
  • Attention to detail in crafting cocktails and setting up the bar presentation according to established standards.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to engage with both guests and fellow team members in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays.
  • Stand and walk continuously throughout shift (up to 8 hours).
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (cases of liquor, kegs, ice bins).
  • Bend, stoop, squat, and reach frequently.
  • Push and pull carts or dollies.
  • Work in loud, crowded, and fast-paced bar environments.
