Position Overview

Work Environment

This position offers a flexible remote work environment through our comprehensive telehealth platform, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home. You will work in an outpatient counseling setting, where appointments are structured to facilitate a convenient schedule for both clients and counselors. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans that address clients' needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailoring approaches to suit diverse backgrounds and situations.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, ensuring each modality aligns with client goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to provide holistic mental health care, enriching therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records, complying with ethical standards and legal regulations to ensure client confidentiality and quality of care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advances in mental health practices, actively seeking professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in Virginia.
• At least 2 years of experience in providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and techniques, with a focus on integration into practice.
• Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to counseling practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telehealth technology.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or certification in trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
