We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to join our team. The Manufacturing Equipment Engineer will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and ensuring that the company's operational goals are met. This role requires hands-on involvement in production, process improvement initiatives, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that all processes run smoothly and cost-effectively.


Responsibilities:

Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase product quality.

Develop, document, and maintain process standards to ensure consistency in production and compliance with quality control protocols.

Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process modifications to enhance safety, productivity, and sustainability.

Design and execute process experiments to test new methods or materials, ensuring the scalability and efficiency of changes.

Troubleshoot process issues on the production floor, working closely with operators, maintenance teams, and quality control personnel to identify root causes and implement solutions.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to reduce costs and improve production throughput.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including production efficiency, cycle times, yield rates, and downtime.

Coordinate with R&D and product development teams to scale up new product lines and introduce new processes into manufacturing.

Train and mentor production staff on process improvements, new procedures, and best practices.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all process engineering activities.

Evaluate the usage of robot/mechanization to improve safety, eliminate errors and increase performance

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or a related field).

3+ years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing, preferably in packaging or a similar industry.

Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).

Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and process optimization tools.

Experience with CAD software and process simulation tools is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.

Willingness to be hands-on with production equipment and processes to resolve issues.

Knowledge of safety standards, environmental regulations, and quality control procedures is essential.
