As part of a Community Health Clinic, you will have the opportunity to connect with a diverse range of clients, primarily through virtual platforms. You will harness technology and utilize digital tools to facilitate counseling sessions, manage schedules, and maintain client records.

• Function as an Independent Contractor, maintaining your own caseload while collaborating with the Wellness Waves team to provide comprehensive care.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs, particularly focusing on seniors and adults, and develop personalized treatment strategies that facilitate their growth and well-being.
• Provide ongoing counseling and psychotherapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to the needs of each individual.
• Actively research and refer clients to additional resources, ensuring they have the support needed outside of therapy sessions.
• Document client interactions and treatment progress meticulously, adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards.

As an LCSW with Wellness Waves, you will primarily engage with adult and senior clients who may face various mental health challenges. These challenges can range from anxiety and depression to adjustment issues related to aging. Your compassionate approach will help clients navigate difficult emotions and circumstances, promoting their mental health and overall well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• Strong proficiency in digital communication tools and software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word) for documentation and correspondence.
• A self-directed approach with the ability to work independently, effectively managing your schedule and caseload without direct supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on empathy and active listening to facilitate effective client engagement.

• Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior experience in a community health clinic or teletherapy setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with multiple therapeutic modalities and a willingness to adapt based on client needs.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 – $130,000 per year, reflecting your skills and contributions. We provide a flexible 40-hour work schedule to accommodate your personal and professional commitments. Additional benefits include:
