Title: Adult Education Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Program Director and/or Office Manager
Job Goal: To provide administrative support for Adult Education enrichment/vocational programs.
Terms of Employment: This is a full-time, year-round, position consisting of 40 hours/week at a rate of $20.00/hr. Benefits include individual/single health, eye, and dental coverage; retirement savings options; and paid vacation. The employee may attend one free course per semester, not to exceed $150 per course/semester. Excellent communication and organizational skills, computer experience, and customer service experience are essential. Knowledge of the FileMaker Pro database and Mac computer use is a bonus. Must be a self-starter willing to work independently.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or higher
  • CHRC
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience working in administrative support roles
  • Positive, collaborative, assiduous, creative, and passionate about adult education
  • Proficient in office related technology tools

Performance Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Adult Education programs within our network
  • Communications with staff and students in-person, online, and over the telephone
  • Coordinate facilities/AV needs
  • Course development and scheduling
  • Course registrations in-person, online, and telephone using in-house/online database systems
  • Create marketing materials and website maintenance
  • Entering data in student information systems
  • General office support for staff and students
  • Maintain confidential student files
