Job description

Independent Contractor Delivery Driver (1099)

We are seeking dependable, motivated, and professional Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers to complete local delivery routes using their own vehicles. This is a 1099 contract opportunity that offers flexible scheduling and consistent local deliveries.

As an Independent Contractor, you will pick up pre-packaged orders from designated retail locations and deliver them to customers’ homes. Deliveries are local, drop-off only, and do not involve installation or assembly. Routes typically include multiple delivery stops per day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up packaged orders from the assigned store location

  • Deliver items safely and efficiently to customers

  • Review delivery details and route information before departing

  • Maintain communication with dispatch regarding route updates or issues

  • Complete deliveries within assigned timeframes

  • Provide professional and courteous customer service

Compensation
  • Per-stop compensation (not hourly)

  • Earnings vary based on the number of completed deliveries

  • Multiple stops may be available per route

  • Additional incentives may be available for consistent on-time performance

  • Payments are issued weekly following the standard processing period

Contract Requirements
  • Must operate as a 1099 independent contractor

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing

  • Strong commitment to safety while operating a vehicle

  • Professional attitude and customer service skills

  • Ability to lift and carry packages when required

  • Smartphone for dispatch communication, delivery confirmation, and proof of delivery

  • Must live within 25 miles of the delivery area
