Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP or PHMP) – Contract-to-Hire (Independent Contractor)

iTrust Wellness Location: Greenville, South Carolina (Hybrid – In-Person & Telehealth)

iTrust Wellness provides comprehensive outpatient behavioral health and psychiatric services to individuals and families across South Carolina. As we continue to expand our practice to include pediatric patients, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PHMP) to join our Greenville-based team in a contract-to-hire capacity as an independent contractor.

This role offers a hybrid care model, combining in-person services in the Greenville area with telehealth visits, allowing for flexibility while supporting high-quality, accessible care for children and adolescents.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Licensed Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PHMP) with an active South Carolina license (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong passion for working with children, adolescents, and families
  • Confidence in developing and managing age-appropriate, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Solid foundation in behavioral health assessment and psychopharmacology
  • Ability to practice independently while collaborating with therapists, families, schools, and multidisciplinary care teams

Schedule & Work Setting

  • Monday–Friday
  • In-person outpatient services within iTrust Wellness clinics or affiliated community settings
  • Flexible scheduling with autonomy to support work-life balance

Support & Resources Provided

  • Administrative support for scheduling, billing, licensing, and credentialing
  • Technology and clinical equipment provided, with ongoing technical support
  • Collaborative, mission-driven team environment

Contract-to-Hire & Independent Contractor Details

  • Position begins as a 1099 independent contractor (contract-to-hire) role
  • Opportunity to transition to a permanent position based on performance and organizational needs
  • Contractors are responsible for managing their own insurance, taxes and benefits during the contract period
