Position: Warehouse Manager

Department:Warehouse

Reports To: Director of Fulfillment

Employment Type: Full-Time / In-House

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations related to inbound receiving, stock organization, and outbound picking processes. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and quality control in handling apparel and headwear products while leading a team to meet operational goals and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving Operations

    • Manage all inbound shipments, including unloading, verifying counts, inspecting quality, and recording discrepancies.

    • Ensure all inventory is properly tagged, labeled, and stored in designated warehouse locations.

    • Collaborate with Purchasing and Inventory Control teams to resolve supplier discrepancies.

  • Picking & Fulfillment

    • Oversee daily order picking operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.

    • Implement quality control checks to minimize picking/packing errors.

    • Coordinate with Shipping to meet order deadlines and special customer requests.

  • Team Leadership

    • Train, coach, and supervise warehouse associates in receiving and picking procedures.

    • Develop and manage daily work schedules, assigning priorities based on business needs.

    • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.

  • Process & Compliance

    • Monitor inventory levels and report variances to Inventory Control.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA safety regulations, and warehouse best practices.

    • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of warehouse management or supervisory experience (apparel/headwear industry preferred).

  • Strong understanding of receiving, picking, and fulfillment operations.

  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Forklift certification preferred.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs.

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000
