Job Description:

The Inbound Warehouse Lead is responsible for supporting and coordinating daily inbound operations to ensure the accurate receipt, inspection, and putaway of inventory. Under the direction of the Inbound and Inventory Supervisor, this position provides functional leadership to warehouse team members, promotes adherence to established processes, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. The Inbound Warehouse Lead contributes to maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment while upholding high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(All duties listed below are considered essential. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.)
  • Customer Service Standards - Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality in all inbound activities.
  • Team Leadership - Assist in leading inbound warehouse personnel, including training, task assignment, coaching, and performance support.
  • Operational Coordination - Collaborate with warehouse, outbound, and customer service teams to prioritize inbound shipments and putaway activities.
  • Receiving Oversight - Oversee receiving functions to ensure shipments are accurately logged, inspected for damage, and properly recorded in the warehouse management system.
  • Inventory PutAway - Ensure inventory is stored in designated locations in accordance with established procedures and accuracy requirements.
  • Process Compliance - Implement and maintain best practices related to the handling of incoming goods to minimize damage and improve efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring - Monitor team performance and address operational or behavioral issues in alignment with company policies.
  • Quality Assurance - Verify that incoming parts meet quality standards prior to placement into inventory.
  • Communication - Communicate expectations, priorities, and procedural updates to team members in a clear and timely manner.
  • Housekeeping - Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and free of debris in accordance with 5S and safety standards.
  • Email Responsiveness - Maintain a maximum 24hour response time to emails during scheduled working hours.
  • Safety Compliance - Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or violations.
  • Other Duties - Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a lead or supervisory capacity.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Computer Proficiency - Experience with Microsoft Windows applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Leadership Skills - Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Time Management - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Communication Skills - Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Organizational Skills - Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 22 feet using equipment such as cherry pickers.
  • Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures.
