Position Overview
The primary focus of an Inbound Warehouse Worker is to provide a high level of customer service to our warehouse operations while meeting defined quality and on time performance standards. A Inbound Warehouse Worker must work safely while adapting to the changing needs of our business.
Technical Responsibilities of the Job
- Perform inventory movements according to documented standard works using an RF terminal.
- Proficiency in sit-down and reach truck forklift operation.
- Unloading of inbound materials
- Move materials within the warehouse while maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and address potential workplace hazards.
- Perform other duties as communicated by the Supervisor

Training/Certification
- Hold a valid California Driver’s License
- Forklift certification through Villara Forklift Training Program
- HVAC and plumbing parts knowledge preferred.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Individuals must be able to physically:
- All physical requirements are noted on the Physical Requirements document for warehouse worker.
Working conditions and management style:
- Current types of forklifts to be operated: Sit-down, Stand-up reach, and Combilift
- The department is lead by the Inbound Supervisor and three Warehouse Leads
- The Inbound Supervisor reports to the Warehouse Manager
- Processes are controlled using standard work documentation. All warehouse employees are required to follow standard works and are encouraged to suggest improvements.
- The Inbound Department is comprised of three primary warehouse functions:
- Receiving materials
- Material movements
- Processing returned materials
- All Inbound Warehouse Workers reporting to the Inbound Department are expected to learn and work in all three functions managed within the department.
- Overtime will be required as fluctuations in the workload dictates.
Performance Standards:
- Clocking in to start work one minute late is considered late.
- Maintain a professional attitude and adhere to all company policies.
- All Villara employees are expected to work well with other team members, sub-contractors, and customers
- A Inbound Warehouse Worker must be in good attendance and performance standing to be eligible for transfer or promotion.
