Job description

About the Role

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products within a distribution environment. This role requires regular use of an RF (Radio Frequency) scanner/RFI gun to accurately track inventory and ensure efficient warehouse workflow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Inventory & Order Processing

  • Use an RF/RFI gun to scan, track, and verify product movement throughout the warehouse.
  • Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders according to company standards.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
  • Ensure correct labeling, documentation, and scanning of inbound and outbound shipments.

Receiving & Shipping

  • Unload, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments by staging, palletizing, wrapping, and labeling products.
  • Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems (WMS).

Material Handling

  • Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or other warehouse equipment as required.
  • Organize stock in assigned warehouse locations, ensuring clean and efficient workspace flow.
  • Replenish pick locations as necessary based on production and shipping needs.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all warehouse safety rules and OSHA guidelines.
  • Report damaged materials, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced distribution setting with frequent physical activity.
  • Exposure to warehouse conditions including temperature variations, noise, and walking surfaces.
  • May require overtime, weekend work, or shift flexibility.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
  • Experience using an RF scanner/RFI gun strongly preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
