Warehouse Worker

Shift: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay: $19/hr
Location: New Castle, DE
Contract: 6 months, potential to hire; benefits available

Position Summary
The Warehouse Worker supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, inventory, and order processing. Responsibilities include unloading and bundling telecom cable, operating a forklift, organizing and labeling product, completing documentation, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety. Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive inbound materials: unload trucks, sort and bundle cable, weigh and record product.
  • Ship orders: pull product from storage, stage/load trucks.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through counts and documentation.
  • Follow work instructions, schedules, and safety/security protocols.
  • Safeguard equipment and cable; report non-compliance issues.
  • Assist with general warehouse organization.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Forklift experience (must pass internal test).
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.
  • Ability to follow instructions and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Heavy machinery experience or apprenticeship is a plus.
Required PPE
Slip-resistant safety shoes, disposable coveralls, mask, gloves, and safety vest.
