The Call Center Specialist works asmemberofAdmissionsDepartment andrepresentsLBHS and its programs to all those inquiring for services.The Call Center Specialist serves as a liaison between LBHS and referral sources,patientsand families.The primary function of the Call Center Specialist is tofacilitatereferrals betweenreferringmobile crisis agencies,hospitalsand other referral sources in support of the call center operations.The Call Center Specialist prioritizes referrals made to LBHS and provides exceptional customer service to all partnering agencies, thorough andaccuratedocumentation of calls and other admissions related paperwork is a criticalcomponentof the job.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Education:Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Social Services field.

Experience:Priorintake, assessment,admissionand crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.

Knowledge: Preferknowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatricdiagnosessymptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth anddevelopmentand crisis and behavior management.
