Korean Bilingual Import Operations Specialist

Location : Secaucus, NJ (100% Onsite)

A Leading Logistics Company

[Job Description]

- Prepare and distribute all required air and ocean import documentation in a timely fashion to appropriate parties (i.e. delivery orders, arrival notice, etc.)

- Communicate with vendors and customers to obtain documents required to satisfy transaction requirements

- Track, trace, and monitor progress of shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing

- Communicate with air and ocean carriers, origin and destination locations regarding shipment status, special handling, and delivery of freight

- Mediate delivery requirements and shipment tracking between customers, truckers, brokers, warehouses, and vendors to ensure proper delivery

- Ensure accuracy and completeness of import documentation

- Input, distribute A/P invoices and ensure timely A/R collection

- Act as an operational liaison with customer to provide excellent, professional customer service

- Handle order fulfillment operations, billing, and customer service functions in a timely manner

- Negotiate rates & find additional competitive (service and rates) vendors

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

- 1-2 years in freight forwarding, logistics, and/or supply chain

- 1-2 years of experience in handling customer service

- Strong attention to detail

- Well organized and quick to adapt

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite

- Good and clear communication skills

- Speaks Korean

- Must be authorized to work in U.S.
