Position Title: Raw & Auxiliary Materials Import Manager
Location: Commerce, GA

Employment Type: Full-Time

 

Department: SCM

Reports To: SCM Team Leader

Collaborating Departments: Warehouse Manager, Yard Manager, Maintenance Team, Production Team, Transport Companies

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime and business travel may be required)

Position Summary

The Raw & Auxiliary Materials Import Manager oversees the import and inbound process of raw and auxiliary materials into the country, managing arrival scheduling, inspection, inventory control, and documentation. This position is responsible for ensuring a stable

supply of materials and efficient import operations to support smooth production activities.

Key Responsibilities

1.     Management of Imported Material Inbound Operations

·       Monitor real-time inbound status of raw material containers and ISO tanks

·       Coordinate and manage delivery schedules with transport companies after port arrival

·       Review, coordinate, and process inbound schedules for containers and ISO tanks

·       Handle empty canister returns and manage inbound processes for raw materials, ISO tanks, and C-NMP, etc.

·       Request and coordinate VMI ISO tank drop & hook delivery schedules

2.     Import Documentation and Administrative Tasks

·       Prepare and manage import-related documents such as IMO, PL, and CI

·       Collect POD and invoices, and support MES closing activities

·       Prepare data related to collection and verify scale tickets

·       Share import-related data with headquarters and logistics companies

3.     Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Support

·       Collaborate with warehouse managers, yard managers, and the maintenance team to ensure smooth inbound operations

·       Communicate closely with the production team and warehouse managers to resolve

·       inbound issues promptly

·       Manage transport companies and coordinate transportation schedules

4.     Qualifications

·       Experience in import inbound operations and material management

·       Understanding of logistics and warehouse operation processes

·       Strong documentation and data management skills
