Role Description

The Operational Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Torrance, CA, responsible for coordinating and executing day-to-day logistics and operational activities. This role includes managing shipment schedules, tracking cargo status, updating internal systems, and ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant with company and regulatory standards. The Operational Specialist will communicate regularly with internal teams, customers, and vendors to resolve issues, support service delivery, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include supporting process improvement initiatives, assisting with operational projects, and collaborating with the sales team to align operational capabilities with customer needs. The position requires attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a structured, deadline-driven environment.


Import Operation

• Process and manage import shipments

• Data input / documentation

• Arrange and co-ordinate with customers for customs clearance and door delivery

• Provide excellent customer service

• Work well in a team environment and assist other co-workers when needed

 

Qualifications required

• Preferably 1+ year of experience in freight forwarding or logistics

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment

• Punctual, Detail oriented, professionalism is a must

• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is preferred, as the role involves frequent communication with Korean-speaking clients and partners in both the U.S. and Korea

• Must be able to legally work in the Unites States

 

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods

• Frequent use of computer and office equipment

Pay range : $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8 hour shift
