The scope of this role is to support importers and exporters in meeting customs requirements for international shipments. : Responsibilities Prepare customs documentation and ensure that shipments meet all applicable laws to facilitate the import and export of goods. Accountable for accurate and timely declaration.

Ensure all documents are submitted timely to customs for audit. Periodical training / updates on the customs matters. Feedback to the customer (internal and external reporting of the shipments to the customer) by various means (mail, phone, EDI) Operational troubleshooting Non-conformance reporting in accordance with the KPI's.Graduate of any discipline or 1 year of experience in customs declaration matters within the freight forwarding industry General knowledge of various local and International shipping and freight forwarding practices is an advantage

Combined excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to analyze situations and to make good decisions based on available information. Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures. Knowledge in ERP systems, computer literacy in Microsoft Office will be an added advantage.Graduate of any discipline or 1 year of experience in customs declaration matters within the freight forwarding industry General knowledge of various local and International shipping and freight forwarding practices is an advantage
