Job description

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end execution of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) site implementations, managing 30+ concurrent projects with precision and efficiency. This role coordinates site readiness and installation contractors, configures Charge Point Management Software (CPMS) for each client site, and configures Future Energy's proprietary platform, Interface, to meet site-specific requirements. Working from established playbooks, SOPs, and documented processes, the Implementation Specialist ensures each client site is delivered on time, within scope, and fully operational.

Responsibility #1 - Site Readiness and Contractor Coordination

  • Manages the end-to-end site readiness process for EVSE installations across 30+ concurrent projects, ensuring each site meets all prerequisites prior to installation.
  • Coordinates remotely with installation contractors to schedule, track, and confirm completion of installation activities in accordance with project timelines.
  • Reviews site-specific construction documents, single-line electrical diagrams, and scope requirements to ensure contractor alignment prior to mobilization.
  • Monitors contractor performance against project milestones and communicates any schedule risks or deviations to the Integration Team Manager promptly.
  • Coordinates project activities to ensure each implementation is completed within the established 6-week project timeline.
  • Serves as a point of contact for contractor and stakeholder inquiries related to site readiness and installation progress.
  • Generates project correspondence, status updates, and reports using established templates and software applications.

Responsibility #2 - CPMS and Interface Configuration

  • Configures the Charge Point Management Software (CPMS) for each client site in accordance with site-specific requirements, established SOPs, and documented playbooks.
  • Configures Future Energy's proprietary platform, Interface, for each client site to ensure seamless integration and accurate system operation.
  • Executes all software configuration tasks, following templated processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across all implementations.
  • Validates completed configurations against quality standards, ensuring sites are configured without errors prior to go-live.
  • Identifies and escalates configuration discrepancies or technical issues to appropriate internal resources for resolution.
  • Maintains up-to-date configuration documentation for all assigned projects in accordance with document control standards.

Responsibility #3 - Document Management and Project Administration

  • Maintains document control, naming conventions, and organization for all assigned implementation projects.
  • Prepares, maintains, and organizes project documentation including project plans, configuration records, meeting notes, and client correspondence.
  • Tracks project progress against milestones and maintains accurate project status records throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Generates and processes purchase orders and warranty documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assists in the preparation of owner training documentation and sign-in sheets upon project completion.
  • Performs additional duties as deemed appropriate by Management.

Position Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree, Technical Certificate, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in technical installation, systems implementation, project coordination, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience with the installation or implementation of technical products, software systems, or VoIP solutions.
  • Familiarity with construction processes, contractor coordination, and templated project execution.
  • Modest understanding of AC and DC power, electrical diagrams, and construction documentation preferred.
  • Experience following SOPs, playbooks, and documented processes to execute technical tasks consistently.
