We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst โ€“ LIMS Platforms to join our team. This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, document processes, support system implementations, and ensure successful delivery of laboratory information management solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in LIMS platforms, data migration, process mapping, and system implementation and a passion for driving process improvements and delivering business-focused technology solutions.

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst โ€“ LIMS
Location: Lansing, Michigan (Hybrid โ€“ Onsite Wednesdays & Thursdays / Remote Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays)
Duration: 1-Year Contract with possibility of extension

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong experience working on LIMS platforms such as Clinisys, STARLIMS, or LabWare. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, working with stakeholders, supporting system implementations, and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions aligned with business goals.

This role requires candidates to be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at the time of submission. The position follows a hybrid work model and requires onsite presence every Wednesday and Thursday from the start of the assignment.

Required Skills & Experience:

โ€ข Experience working with LIMS platforms (Clinisys, STARLIMS, or LabWare)
โ€ข 8+ years of experience in requirements elicitation and documentation
โ€ข 8+ years of stakeholder management and communication experience
โ€ข 8+ years of experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design
โ€ข 8+ years of data migration and system implementation experience
โ€ข Strong understanding of system integrations and data concepts
โ€ข Excellent communication and documentation skills
โ€ข Must be local to Lansing, Michigan (within 90 miles)

Key Responsibilities:

โ€ข Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
โ€ข Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional solutions
โ€ข Create process maps, perform gap analysis, and support solution design activities
โ€ข Support LIMS platform implementations (Clinisys, STARLIMS, LabWare preferred)
โ€ข Assist with data migration and system integration efforts
โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system deployment
