Job description

The Sales Implementation Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting waste management, waste & recycling services, metal recycling, and scrap metal disposal operations by bridging the gap between a closed sale and a fully implemented, functional client solution. This position ensures the successful onboarding of new clients, including accurate setup of waste disposal services, recycling programs, and scrap metal recycling solutions, while maintaining alignment with contractual terms and operational requirements. The Sales Implementation Coordinator serves as a key liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Accounting to ensure services are configured accurately, pricing is compliant, and billing processes are executed correctly. This role collaborates closely with leadership across Construction & Aggregates, Major Accounts, and Industrial/Commercial/Organics divisions to support customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and revenue integrity.

This position reports directly to the Revenue Manager.

Essential Functions

·         Collaborate with the COO and Divisional Controller to design, implement, and enforce policies and procedures for the accurate submission of sales orders and contracts related to:

o    Waste disposal services

o    Waste & recycling programs

o    Scrap metal recycling and metal recycling solutions
Ensure proper billing, revenue recognition, and compliance with company standards.

·         Monitor and maintain contract records, including:

o    Contract history

o    Renewals and extensions

o    Automatic price escalations
Ensure alignment with customer agreements and pricing structures.

·         Translate executed Sales Agreements into actionable implementation workflows within internal systems, supporting multiple lines of business, including:

o    Mulch

o    Co-Packing

o    Commercial Front Load

o    Roll-Off

o    Tractor Trailer

o    Metal recycling and scrap services

·         Verify pricing accuracy for new services across Mazza Recycling and its affiliates, ensuring compliance with approved pricing, margin, and profitability standards; escalate discrepancies as needed.

·         Partner with the Revenue Manager to identify and recommend process improvements related to:

o    Billing procedures

o    Service codes

o    System workflows

o    Data accuracy and reporting

·         Support cross-functional collaboration by responding accurately and promptly to internal requests, helping ensure consistent and efficient service delivery across all waste and recycling operations.

·         Assist in the implementation and maintenance of system integrations, including APIs, across multiple lines of business.

Qualifications

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis tools used in waste management and recycling operations.

·         Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and experience with systems such as AMCS/Tower or similar ERP platforms.

·         Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high-volume workflows.

·         Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, particularly related to:

o    Pricing validation

o    Contract review

o    Service implementation

·         Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, sales support, or implementation coordination; experience in waste management, recycling, or scrap metal operations is preferred but not required.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

·         Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a compliance-driven environment.

·         Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

·         This role is primarily performed in an office environment with standard business equipment.
