Job description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project execution across multiple BAS construction projects, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and client requirements.

  • Direct and mentor project teams, including field staff, engineers, and subcontractors.

  • Own project portfolio performance โ€” scope, budget, schedule, and quality โ€” and deliver monthly financial and milestone reporting to senior executives.

  • Oversee all contract documentation, change order management, procurement, and vendor coordination.

  • Collaborate closely with clients to build trust, manage expectations, and serve as primary point of escalation.

  • Evaluate and approve engineering designs, technical submittals, and BoMs for compliance and efficiency.

  • Mitigate risk through proactive planning, forecasting, and issue resolution.

  • Standardize best practices across projects to drive efficiency and quality in delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with Divconโ€™s internal systems (e.g., DivPro), safety standards, and project documentation protocols.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in construction project or program management, ideally in BAS or MEP environments.

  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing high-value, multi-phase projects.

  • Deep knowledge of building automation, HVAC controls, and electrical/commissioning systems.

  • Strong business acumen with experience in financial oversight, reporting, and resource planning.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills โ€” from technicians to C-suite.

  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and financial tools.

  • OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two (2) years is required.

  • If certification is not current or has not been completed, OSHA 30 training will be provided and must be successfully completed within the first week of employment.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel frequently to job sites by car or plane, up to 85%

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout job sites for extended periods

  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and lifts as required

  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and work in tight or confined spaces

  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials up to 50 pounds

  • Manual dexterity to handle tools, wiring, and small components

  • Ability to work at heights and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions

  • Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment when required (hard hat, vest, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots)

  • Visual keenness to read schematics, labels, and digital displays

  • Ability to visually identify and differentiate wires by assigned color

  • Ability to hear and respond to alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions
