Senior Network Engineer - JD A. Installation and configuration of all software packages as needed to support business requirements B. Collaborate with the with multiple teams and provide resolution for incidents, problems and Service requests C. Work with product OEM for unknown issues to identify the root cause and provide permanent fix D. Provide system support and troubleshooting expertise as needed E. Act as a senior level of engineering escalation for issues encountered F. Manage and deployment of network equipment: Cisco routers and switches, specifically Cisco Nexus 7000, 5000, 2000, Cisco Catalyst 6500, 4500, 3850, 3750, 3650 series switches, Cisco 3900, 2900 and ASR routers. G. Troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves network problems. H. Researches, analyzes and recommends the implementation of software or hardware changes to rectify any network deficiencies or to enhance network performance. I. Knowledge of Enterprise system monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds, Riverbed Netprofiler, Smart Net Total Care, Wireshark, Cisco Prime etc. J. Knowledge of commercial enterprise-level tools and products to provide network services, including: firewalls, IPS/IDS, DNS, DHCP, web security, TACACS+, VPN. K. Understanding of PCI and security best practices L. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and vendors. M. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. N. CCNP certification highly desirable or equivalent experience Technology Skill requirement 1. Cisco ISR/ASR routers.
