Sr. Implementation Project Manager


The Sr. Implementation Project Manager is responsible for working with internal and external clients during the integration of clientsโ€™ process and procedures with Harris and Harrisโ€™ collections systems. This role is responsible for the development, testing, implementation of all tasks associated with the collection system. This includes coordinating programming changes internally, externally with clients, and programming vendors.


This position may include some client contact over the phone and/or in person visits which will require the candidate to be well-spoken, able to understand client needs, and suggest solutions.

Location: Can be completely remote or hybrid if in Chicagoland area, will require travel to Chicago office if remote

Schedule: Regular business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, must be able to work after hours and on weekends as needed.

Salary: $70,000 to $100,000 annually, dependent on experience

DAY TO DAY

  • Facilitate regular project team meetings with resources from both internal and client teams
  • Effectively communicate with clients and internal resources through regular progress reporting and conference calls to ensure client issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Manage project plan/checklist of required tasks to ensure adherence to the schedule and successfully complete implementations executing various corporate and high profile client projects as assigned
  • Assign tasks to resources in various departments and closely monitor results to completion
  • Oversee multiple implementation projects in different stages simultaneously
  • Ask probing questions to understand the needs and issues associated with the new implementation
  • Follow established process to ensure that new implementations are tested and audited properly
  • Manage the quality control of operational programs, results, and reporting for all clients in order to eliminate problems, mishaps, and increase client satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot reported application issues and help facilitate resolution to aid in preventing issues going forward
  • Perform analysis, design, and testing of interfaces on custom programming applications (data, files, reports, statements)
  • Work collaboratively with other IT individuals as needed for programming initiatives, changes to routines, file processing, strategies, letters, design elements, and other functions as related to client operations
  • Create ad hoc reporting on demand and develop specifications to recurring reports for programming to help increase department productivity ensuring that reporting is accurate and pertinent
  • Create and execute test plans for newly-developed policies and procedures to ensure that all team members understand the correct process for completing their tasks
  • Establish and manage documentation for developed processes and oversee transition to IT operations
  • Document and share details about new clients with internal departments via the standard Project Plan Summary template
  • Learn and become proficient in the CUBS collection system

WHAT YOU MUST POSSESS

Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, bachelorโ€™s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years in technical or application support environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment within expected guidelines under limited supervision with excellent attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience with implementations and data transfers
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, time management and follow-up abilities
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office experience specifically with Excel

Preferred Skills:

  • Project management training/certification a plus
  • Software application knowledge (troubleshooting) and working closely with software developers preferred
  • Collections experience highly preferred
  • CUBS collection application experience is a plus
