Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for key categories
  • Develop & execute supplier contracts in alignment with our financial objectives.
  • Identify, implement, and obtain cost reduction, lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and develop supplier relationships & supplier performance with a strong focus on flexibility/ agility, quick response times, process flow efficiency, product quality, on time commitments, distribution excellence and supplier reliability.
  • Assess, communicate, and mitigate risks to the business and our supplier relationships.
  • Maintain current expertise in supply market dynamics & supplier classification.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations/ decisions that will support continuous improvement & cost effectiveness of product delivery via current suppliers by providing strong supporting data.
  • Monitor supplier score cards that provide an objective view of our supply base and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Drive and implement new product and cost savings initiatives in a cross functional team setting
  • Strong leadership and managerial capabilities with an emphasis upon employee development and succession planning.
  • Complies with all company policies and procedures.
  • Work and communicate in a team environment.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required by the Company.

    • Strong negotiation, analytical, financial acumen and project management skills
    • Experience with ERP systems and sourcing tools (Infor, Syteline
    • Knowledge of international trade, logistics, and contract law.
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
