The Client Success Manager, GPO Implementations is responsible for overseeing the successful onboarding of hospitals and health systems into a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO). This role ensures a smooth transition by coordinating contract alignment, supply chain integration, and system/data setup while engaging with client stakeholders to deliver measurable savings and operational value. The Implementation Manager serves as the primary liaison between the client, the GPO, and internal teams, driving project plans from initiation through stabilization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of GPO services for new and transitioning healthcare clients.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Pharmacy, Finance, IT, Vendors).
  • Oversee item master and formulary conversion to align with GPO contracts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely setup of contract pricing, tiers, and distribution agreements.
  • Validate savings opportunities through benchmarking and cost analysis.
  • Conduct financial analysis as necessary for contract tier optimization.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during implementation.
  • Conduct regular status meetings, provide progress reports, and manage issue resolution.
  • Support client education on GPO model, compliance, and reporting tools.
  • Guide hospital leadership and supply chain teams through transition from prior GPO.
  • Facilitate adoption of new processes, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Address barriers to implementation and escalate risks as needed.
  • Track realized savings against pro forma projections.
  • Provide reporting on compliance, contract utilization, and cost reduction.
  • Transition client to ongoing account management team post-implementation.

Work Experience, Education, and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare supply chain, GPO, or implementation/project management.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital purchasing, contracting, and supply chain operations.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and change management skills.
  • Financial analysis experience a plus.
