POSITION SUMMARY:

The Implementation Manager will oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, ensuring their successful implementation of TruDataRx’s formulary management products. Implementation of our products involves plan design, formulary configuration, customer service, file exchange setup(s), prior authorization processes, quality assurance activities, and other service components that require strategic planning and cross functional coordination to deliver exceptional client experiences.


Essential Functions

  • Proactive management of client relationships, serving as the primary client contact and leading their transition from sales through implementation of their TruCardRx product, which is unique to each client’s scope and business objectives
  • Manage end-to-end client implementations, including project planning, risk management, and cross-functional coordination
  • Coordinate with TruDataRx’s vendors and with clients’ vendors, including (but not limited to) Pharmacy Benefit Managers, Rebate Aggregators, Third Party Administrators, and Contracted Pharmacies
  • Effectively manage project expectations through facilitation of regular status meetings, providing detailed project updates, maintaining transparent communication channels with all stakeholders, identifying project risks and proactively addressing challenges
  • Manage end-to-end internal special project implementations (e.g. new partner implementations, operational projects, strategic initiatives) including project planning, risk management, and cross-functional coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams on the configuration component of implementation
  • Organize and coordinate customer onboarding and training through virtual sessions aimed to ensure clients are well- equipped to effectively utilize their TruCardRX product.
  • Attain a deep understanding of the product offerings, act as a subject matter expert of the TruCardRx product and promote product adoption
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or a relevant field

  • 3+ years experience managing the full lifecycle of PBM implementation, from sales hand-off to support post-go-live
  • Ability to lead multiple complex implementation projects simultaneously and shift priorities easily
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy benefit design, formulary management, eligibility & accumulator file exchange, and claims adjudication
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies with a track record of successfully managing concurrent and complex, cross-functional projects synergistically with diverse teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with PBM operations and healthcare industry standards
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on clarity and client engagement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft/Google analytic (i.e. excel or sheets) and presentation (i.e. PowerPoint or Slides) tools
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical requirements or changes, collaborating effectively with technical teams
  • Dynamic ability to address complex challenges with innovative solutions
  • Self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment
  • Experience in a technical startup environment (not required)
