Job description

About EliseAI
At EliseAI, we're improving the industries that matter most: housing and healthcare. Everyone needs a place to live and access to quality healthcare, yet both are often harder to secure than they should be.
By integrating AI agents deeply into existing workflows, we make them more efficient, reduce costs, and improve the experience for everyone.
  • Housing: We simplify how renters tour apartments, sign leases, submit maintenance requests, and stay connected with their property team-bringing everything they need for their home into one place.
  • Healthcare: We make it easy to schedule appointments, complete intake forms, and we help patients communicate with providers, so everyone can focus on health instead of paperwork.

With EliseAI, organizations reduce manual work, improve accessibility, and deliver a seamless experience across essential services. We recently raised a $250 million Series E round led by Andreessen Horowitz to accelerate this mission.
About The Role
We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our pre-sales and implementation team: someone who thrives at the intersection of technical depth, strategic thinking, and customer obsession.
This is not a support role. You'll be embedded in our most complex, high-value enterprise engagements, partnering alongside Engagement Managers and Customer Success Managers to architect, configure, and activate EliseAI's platform for our most strategic customers. You'll own the technical work stream from pre-sales through go-live, ensuring every customer is set up for long-term success from day one.
The ideal candidate has worn multiple hats (Implementation Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Product Generalist) and brings a rare combination of hands-on technical ability, cross-vertical curiosity, and a genuine passion for making customers successful. You're equally comfortable in a configuration console and a boardroom, and you know how to build a compelling case for best practices without losing the human side of the conversation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own technical implementation end-to-end across enterprise accounts, from presales discovery through configuration, testing, and go-live
  • Partner closely with Engagement Managers and Customer Success Managers to deliver a seamless, coordinated experience for complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise customers
  • Drive technical discovery during pre-sales by mapping customer workflows, identifying configuration requirements, and translating them into actionable implementation plans
  • Configure and activate EliseAI's platform to match the unique operational needs of each customer, applying deep product knowledge across housing verticals
  • Build and present best practice recommendations tailored to each customer's operational model, advocating for configurations that drive adoption and outcomes
  • Develop and maintain expertise across multiple verticals, becoming a trusted advisor who understands the nuances of different customer segments and use cases
  • Serve as the internal voice of the customer, synthesizing implementation learnings into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering
  • Contribute to scalable internal assets including playbooks, configuration templates, and onboarding frameworks that raise the bar for the broader team
  • Proactively identify risks in customer deployments and take initiative to resolve them before they escalate

Move at rocket speed, build something massive.
We're scaling fast, solving real client problems with precision and ambition. Here, you own your impact; full autonomy, no micromanagement, no fluff. We hire the best, expect the best, and give you the masterclass of your career. It's hard, it's intense, and it's the most rewarding work you'll ever do. If you're hungry, driven, and ready to build something massive, climb aboard.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in solutions engineering, implementation engineering, technical account management, or a closely related presales/post-sales technical role
  • Proven track record of owning technical implementation for enterprise-grade customers, ideally in a SaaS or AI/ML-driven product environment
  • Strong technical foundation: comfortable with APIs, system integrations, data flows, and configuration-heavy platforms; SQL proficiency and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) a plus
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder: able to translate technical complexity into clear, confident language for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strategically minded with strong customer instincts: you don't just implement; you advise, consult, and advocate for what will actually work
  • Highly cross-functional: experienced working across Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering with a collaborative, no-ego approach
  • Vertically curious: eager to develop deep expertise across multiple customer segments and become a go-to resource for product knowledge
  • Organized and accountable: capable of managing multiple high-stakes implementations simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • Customer-first mentality: you measure your success by your customers' outcomes
  • Willingness to work on-site at our office 4-5 days per week

Why Join
This is a chance to join a funded unicorn at a pivotal stage of growth, working on problems that genuinely matter in housing and healthcare. You won't be following a playbook; you'll be writing one. Every engagement is an opportunity to learn, build, and make a measurable impact for customers and the business alike.
Benefits
In addition to meaningful work and real growth opportunity, we offer:
  • Equity in the company
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision premiums covered at 100%
  • Fully paid parental leave
  • Commuter benefits
  • 401k benefits
  • Fitness & home services stipend
  • Fully stocked kitchen with all meals covered in the office
  • Unlimited vacation and paid holidays
  • Relocation packages covered

Job Compensation
The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $185,000. In addition to base salary, this role includes a launch-based SPIFF program, providing additional earning opportunities tied directly to successful customer go-lives. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package including base salary, variable compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Exact compensation is determined based on experience, skill level, location, and qualifications assessed during the interview process.
EliseAI provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
Please note that employment with EliseAI is on an "at-will" basis, which means that either the employee or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice.
Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
