Job description

The Client

Our client is a respected name in mechanical contracting, known for delivering high-performance HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. With decades of expertise and a deep-rooted commitment to client success, they combine technical precision with relationship-driven service—offering both construction and ongoing service solutions. Their reputation has been earned through operational excellence, collaborative partnerships, and the ability to execute complex projects with integrity.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a poised and strategic Construction Account Manager to join this dynamic team. This is not a transactional sales role—it’s an opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to high-value clients while overseeing the full lifecycle of mechanical construction and retrofit projects. You will be responsible for managing key accounts, supporting design and estimating, leading contract negotiations, and working closely with project managers to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery. If you’re motivated by long-term impact, solution-based selling, and the chance to grow a portfolio within a values-driven firm, this role was designed for you.

Experience or Skills Desired

  • 4+ years of experience in mechanical contracting, project management, or client-focused construction roles
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships while managing technical project delivery
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping systems, and mechanical services
  • Experience in estimating, proposal development, contract negotiation, and budgeting
  • Comfort working with project teams across engineering, operations, and field execution
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; PMP or CSP credentials a plus

The Offer

  • Competitive base salary with performance incentives
  • Full benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k)
  • Career growth within a high-integrity, low-turnover environment
  • Opportunity to work on meaningful projects with long-standing clients
  • Culture of collaboration, mentorship, and technical excellence
