The Sr Innovation Product Manager, Clinical Chemistry is responsible for Clinical Chemistry Assay and Reagent Solutions within the Clinical Chemistry & Immunoassay Business Unit.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Product Management responsible for the Clinical Chemistry Reagent and Assay business and is part of the Clinical Chemistry & Immunoassay Business unit. located in Chaska and will be an on-site role.  However, qualified candidates not located near Chaska will be considered and the role may be filled as a remote role in the United States. At Beckman Coulter, our mission is to Relentlessly Reimagine Healthcare, One Diagnosis at a Time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Establish strategies and develop product roadmaps for long-term market share growth & ever-expanding operating profit through the delivery of clinical chemistry solutions and portfolio lifecycle management.

  • Establish cross functional partnerships to drive strategic product initiatives for quality, revenue and compliance by facilitating voice of customer (VoC) insights to the teams.

  • Lead new product development efforts from concept to launch, expanding and optimizing the product line with differentiated solutions that meet evolving customer needs.

  • Analyze financial performance, market trends and customer feedback to drive roadmap decisions and strategic planning for the business.

  • Work closely with alliance management and strategic procurement to manage relationships with third-party product providers and OEM partners, ensuring product continuity and identifying opportunities for portfolio optimization.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, business or related field, with 14+ years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 12+ years of relevant experience OR Doctoral degree with 9+ years relevant experience. 

  • Track record in developing new product development strategies and roadmaps. 

  • Performing market and customer insight research to deeply understand customer needs, challenges and translate these together with a cross-functional team into diagnostic solutions. 

  • Leading projects with risks and complexity, collaborating with cross-functional teams of R&D, global/regional marketing, regulatory, clinical, quality and operations. 

  • Develop and negotiating, with legal representation, business and/or research agreements. 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • PhD or advanced medical degree

  • Product management certification (Ex. Pragmatic)

The annual salary range for this role is $160,000 - $200,000 USD, that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
