We are seeking an IFS Cloud Application Administrator to support the overall administration, maintenance, and operational stability of the IFS Cloud environment.

This role is accountable for system availability, performance, security, and compliance while enabling business operations through effective environment management, upgrade scheduling, patching, and user access control.

·        Initially operates in a fast-paced implementation environment supporting the deployment, stabilization, and transition of IFS Cloud into production operations.

• During the implementation phase, the role will support accelerated project timelines, evolving requirements, configuration activities, testing cycles, data migration, integration validation, and go-live readiness efforts.
• Following implementation, the role transitions into the ongoing administration, support, governance, and continuous improvement of the IFS Cloud platform.
• Supports a highly integrated application landscape requiring coordination with business stakeholders, integration teams, security teams, external vendors, implementation partners, and IFS support resources.
• Must be comfortable managing competing priorities, tight deadlines, implementation deliverables, production support issues, and periodic upgrade or release activities.
• Success requires strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
• The role operates within a governed environment emphasizing change management, security, compliance, documentation, operational excellence, and business continuity.
• The role commonly operates in a hybrid or remote IT environment and may require off-hours support for deployments, upgrades, or critical incidents.

·    The IFS Cloud Application Administrator will:

·    Administer and maintain multiple IFS Cloud environments, including Development, Test, UAT, and Production

·    Monitor system health, performance, availability, integration reliability, and integration performance

·    Coordinate environment refreshes, cloning, and data masking activities

·    Ensure system configurations align with organizational standards and best practices

·    Plan, coordinate, and execute IFS Cloud upgrades, releases, patches, hotfixes, and service updates

·    Develop upgrade schedules, maintain release calendars, and communicate downtime or impacts to IT and business stakeholders

·    Conduct pre- and post-upgrade validation testing

·    Works with security team to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities and security risks

·    Administer user roles, permissions, access controls, provisioning, de-provisioning, and role audits

·    Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance standards, and segregation of duties requirements

·    Monitor and respond to security-related incidents by engaging the DAA Security team

·    Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, system errors, and performance bottlenecks

·    Collaborate with internal teams, middleware teams, other application teams, and IFS support for issue resolution

·    Maintain documentation of known issues, root cause analyses, configurations, processes, and procedures

·    Support audits by providing required documentation and evidence

·    Maintain monitoring tools and alerts for system performance and availability

·    Generate and analyze reporting on system usage, performance metrics, incidents, and improvement opportunities

·    Ensure compliance with IT governance, change management, and security policies

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience

3–7+ years of experience in application administration with IFS applications

Strong understanding of environment management, patching, upgrade processes, user access management, and security best practices

·    Technical skills should include:

·    IFS Cloud administration and lifecycle management

·    Database knowledge such as Oracle, SQL Server, or equivalent

·    Monitoring tools and job scheduling systems

·    APIs, integrations, and middleware platforms

·    Soft skills should include:

·    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

·    Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination

·    Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

·    Detail-oriented execution with focus on quality and compliance

Experience with IFS Lifecycle Experience (LXE) tools

Knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management

Certifications in cloud platforms or ERP systems

Strong candidates will:

·    Have hands-on experience administering IFS Cloud

·    Proactively monitor system performance, availability, integration reliability, and security posture

·    Manage upgrades, patches, maintenance windows, and environment activities with clear communication and stakeholder alignment

·    Collaborate effectively across IT, business, middleware, application, security, and vendor support teams

·    Balance technical issue resolution with business continuity and user support expectations

·    Cannot support occasional off-hours deployments, upgrades, or critical incidents
