Overview:

YSI is seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Developer to support our program. The Maximo Developer will support the development, sustainment, enhancement, modernization, and integration of a highly customized IBM Maximo-based maintenance management solution supporting our logistics, facilities, and equipment maintenance operations.

The IBM Maximo Developer will work within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment and collaborate with product owners, functional experts, software engineers, testers, cybersecurity personnel, and Government stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and mission-focused capabilities. This position requires experience supporting customized Maximo implementations and the ability to analyze, develop, test, and maintain solutions beyond standard out-of-the-box IBM Maximo functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, customize, test, and maintain IBM Maximo Application Suite solutions supporting our maintenance, logistics, and asset management operations.
  • Responsibilities include developing workflows, automation scripts, interfaces, and application enhancements; troubleshooting defects and performance issues; and implementing solutions that support a highly customized FEM environment.
  • Work closely with Government stakeholders, product owners, and Agile teams to analyze requirements, develop technical solutions, and support the full software development lifecycle. The position includes supporting system integrations, data migration activities, database development, and modernization initiatives that improve system functionality, interoperability, and maintainability.
  • As a member of a SAFe Agile team, the developer will participate in Program Increment planning, sprint activities, testing, code reviews, and software releases while adhering to DevSecOps, configuration management, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • The individual will also support RMF compliance, vulnerability remediation, technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and user support activities to ensure the continued reliability and evolution of the FEM platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).3 to 5 years of professional experience associated with Software Development is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing, configuring, or supporting IBM Maximo solutions.
  • Experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and/or IBM Maximo Asset Management.
  • Experience developing Maximo workflows, automation scripts, business objects, domains, escalations, and application customizations.
  • Experience supporting highly customized Maximo environments beyond standard out-of-the-box functionality.
  • Experience supporting enterprise asset management, facilities management, logistics, maintenance, or equipment management systems.
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience supporting IBM Maximo Application Suite within a modern DevSecOps environment, including the configuration, deployment, testing, and sustainment of Maximo applications through automated Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
