Job Title: Registered Nurse

Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: ICU experience Pressure drip knowledge Positive attitude

Description: RN-ICU position available. Candidates must have experience in hemodynamics, CRRT, ICP, EVD, and ventilator management. Monitoring, proning, thoracentesis, tracheostomy, and treadmill of 4 monitoring experience is required. Experience with nitric oxide, charting, Swan Ganz catheter, and pacemakers is essential. Candidates should have knowledge of hemodialysis, central line setup/insertion, and TPN/PPN. Chest tube management experience is also necessary. The ICU has 14 beds and a staff of 26. Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse and 4 RNs. Night shift has 1 charge nurse and 4 RNs. Patient ratios are generally 2:1. Type of equipment includes vents, pumps, Swans, CRRT, chest tubes, and occasionally balloon pumps and Impellas. EMR system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include central line placement and intubation. The ideal candidate will have a positive, proactive demeanor.
