Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Level 4 Registered Nurse (RN) โ€“ Operating Room (OR) to join a high-performing clinical team at the Cherokee Nation Outpatient Health Center. This role requires a skilled perioperative nurse with strong surgical support experience, excellent patient care standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room before, during, and after surgical procedures

  • Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and sterile field in compliance with safety protocols

  • Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures

  • Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

  • Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety standards

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams


Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact, as applicable)

  • Minimum 2โ€“3 years of recent Operating Room (OR) experience

  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • BLS certification (required)

  • ACLS certification (preferred)
