Description: Manage students who have been assigned In School Suspension
Qualifications:
  • Maintain excellent attendance
  • Ability to get along well with others
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a team to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to follow oral and/or written directions

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of students
  • Communication with teachers for student assignments
  • Working with Assistant Principals on student discipline
  • Maintaining a structured environment within the ISS room
  • Providing assistance to support staff with reports and general office duties
  • Participate in meetings as required
  • Promote a positive and professional image of the district at all times
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures and guidelines of Fairfield Community Schools
  • Other duties as assigned by building principal and/or supervisor

Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Have at least a high school diploma or GED
  • Complete and pass an Expanded Criminal Background and CPS Check

Compensation:
  • Competitive pay based upon experience

Contracted days:
  • 180 school days plus any required classified staff workdays per school year

Hours:
7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
7.5 hours per day/37.5 hours per week
Reports to: Building Principal and Assistant Principals
