Summary
The Customer Operations Department is looking for an engineer to serve as the conduit between our customers and our Engineering Services and Software Development teams. This is an exciting and dynamic role that will not look the same every day. From directly helping customers integrate HyperX into their vehicle analysis and design, to contributing to the software interface and workflows, to helping with documentation and training, you will see your footprint in all aspects of the company and of the industry.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience either in aerospace industry or supporting a technical software product
  • Ability to learn HyperX and understand its applications in various industries
  • Ability to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and concisely
  • A desire to work with customers, with an emphasis on empathy for "helping get the job done"
  • Ability to collaborate with different teams in the company with the goal of respectfully representing the customer's perspective
  • Strong documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • US Citizen.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Proactively reach out to customers to understand their current use-case and satisfaction with HyperX
  • Work directly with customers to understand their technical requirements. Present them with appropriate training, support, and documentation to ensure they can meet those requirements with HyperX
  • Propose and implement strategies - both in customer interactions and the software product itself - for customer retention and satisfaction
  • Manage the ticket system by troubleshooting customer questions and providing solutions - or by connecting the customer with the correct subject matter expert to do so
  • Be a technical resource during the sales process by supporting introductory demonstrations and product evaluation phases
  • Use your customer-facing perspective to offer suggestions for software interface and workflow improvements
  • Document specific needs and features-of-interest of customers for communication to other teams within the company
  • Work with documentation team to ensure both software documentation and training exercises are useful and kept up-to-date
