Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Essbase Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Essbase and a solid background in the Finance domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting multidimensional financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and analytical applications.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, enhance, and support Oracle Essbase applications and cubes.
  • Develop and maintain BSO/ASO cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, calculation scripts, business rules, and data load rules.
  • Build and optimize Essbase calculation scripts, member formulas, allocation logic, and aggregation processes.
  • Support financial applications related to budgeting, forecasting, planning, consolidation, management reporting, P&L, balance sheet, and financial analysis.
  • Work closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and business stakeholders to understand reporting and planning requirements.
  • Develop and troubleshoot MaxL scripts, automation jobs, batch processes, and data integrations.
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Essbase.
  • Experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning / Oracle EPM / Planning and Budgeting Cloud.
  • Experience with Smart View.
  • Experience with Essbase BSO and ASO applications.
  • Strong knowledge of:
