The Advanced Billing Associate is responsible for preparing and processing accurate and compliant invoices for customers, ensuring timely billing and payment in accordance with company policies and procedures, while maintaining detailed financial records and providing support for billing inquiries. As an integral member of the team, the you will help reduce overall billing cycle times and increase collections. You will prepare a minimum of 150 basic Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), and commercial invoices per month, accurately and compliantly supporting revenue, EBIT, and cash goals. You will follow all billing policies and procedures to support successful internal and external audits and maintain billing information in financial systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and other accounting regulations.

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of four years of relevant experience. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting processes and practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, accounting software applications, Hyperion Essbase, and Oracle
  • Basic understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DFARS, DCAA, DCMA, Department of Defense requirements, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)

Workplace Options:

The position can be based out of our AZ, MA, MN or VA offices. We are not offering a relocation package at this time.This position is on-site with the option to flex 2-3 days per week moving forward.
