Job description

Job Title: Senior Apparel Designer, Basketball Apparel (Contract)

Location: Portland, OR (PHK) | Hybrid 4/1 Schedule

Duration: ~7-Month Contract


About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Apparel Designer to join the Basketball Apparel team and help shape the future of performance and lifestyle basketball products. This role will report to the Design Director of Basketball Apparel and work alongside a team of apparel, graphic, and color designers to create innovative seasonal collections for men's and women's basketball apparel.


Required Qualifications

โ€ข 8+ years of apparel design experience within performance, sportswear, athletic, or fashion apparel.

โ€ข Strong expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

โ€ข Deep understanding of apparel construction, materials, trims, fit, and product creation.

โ€ข Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

โ€ข Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.

โ€ข Strong portfolio showcasing concept development, apparel design process, and final product execution across men's and/or women's apparel.


Preferred Qualifications

โ€ข Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Design, Fashion Design, or related field (preferred, not required).

โ€ข Experience with CLO 3D, Vizcom, Miro, or similar 3D visualization/rendering tools.

โ€ข Background in basketball, performance apparel, or sportswear design preferred.
