The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting the sales and project execution of custom commercial HVAC systems. This position provides technical sales support, prepares quotes and submittals, and ensures effective communication with customers, contractors, engineers, and the outside sales team. The ideal candidate combines customer service skills with a technical mindset and attention to detail to help drive the success of projects from lead to fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary inside sales contact for system inquiries, proposals, and project support.
  • Prepareaccurateandtimelyquotes, submittals, and documentation for orders based on plans, specifications, or customer input.
  • Support outside sales representatives by managing internal follow-up tasks, customer communication, and project coordination.
  • Assistwith equipment takeoffs from plans and mechanical drawings or coordinate with engineering as needed.
  • Respond to customer questionsregardingproduct selection, pricing, availability, and technical specifications.
  • Maintain knowledge ofHVACtechnologies and offerings from major manufacturerswerepresent. 
  • Track and manage order progress, lead times, and delivery schedules; collaborate withlogisticsand operations teams.
  • Maintainaccuraterecords in the CRM system and helpidentifyfollow-up opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HVAC Technology, Engineering, ora relatedfield preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, estimating, or project coordination (preferably in HVAC or building systems).
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiencywith MicrosoftOffice;CRM and quoting software experience a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
