Job Description

Salary:
The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 - $85,000 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
Summary:
The Project Management Analyst provides hands-on support for projects and the project management office by assisting with coordination, documentation, reporting, and execution activities across technology and business initiatives.
This role supports project delivery, helping ensure initiatives stay organized, visible, and on track. It is an ideal role for someone looking to build a foundation in project management and enterprise technology delivery.
This position is perfect for someone beginning their project management career who is highly organized, eager to learn, and interested in working on a diverse portfolio of IT projects, including digital products, ERP migrations, service management, and operational initiatives.
The Project Management Analysis will collaborate closely with senior project managers, technical leads, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are well documented, transparent, and progressing according to plan.
Essential Functions:
Project Support & Coordination
  • Support project managers in maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
  • Assist with tracking action items, risks, issues, and decisions.
  • Help coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Support status reporting, dashboards, and governance updates.
  • Assist with cutover planning activities, readiness checklists, and go-live coordination.

Delivery Support
  • Assist with documenting business requirements, user stories, and functional needs.
  • Help maintain backlogs, enhancement lists, and defect tracking in delivery tools.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives as applicable.
  • Assist in gathering user feedback and documenting improvement opportunities.
  • Help track feature progress and delivery status against agreed priorities.

Documentation & Process Support
  • Help maintain project and product documentation, including plans, RAID logs, meeting notes, and standards.
  • Support process documentation and updates as initiatives evolve.
  • Assist in documenting lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Help ensure project artifacts follow PMO standards and templates.

Cross-Functional Support
  • Coordinate with IT, Finance, Business, and external partners as directed.
  • Assist in identifying dependencies and impacts across initiatives.
  • Support capacity tracking, time tracking, and utilization reporting as needed.
  • Help escalate risks and issues to senior team members in a timely manner.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
  • 0-2 years of experience in project coordination, operations, business support, or similar roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with project or product management concepts.
  • Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Experience using tools such as Planview, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Interest in enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, or business applications.
