JobDescription
The HumanResource Coordinator supports and facilitates a wide range of human resourcesfunctions for the Vancouver office. This role administers new hire onboarding,employee relations, including workplace investigations, workplace injuryreporting, and leave of absence administration. Additional responsibilitiesinclude assist employees with benefits enrollment, recruitment, interviewcoordination, and other recruiting activities.
Working closelywith the Corporate HR team in Lakewood and the local Regional Director, theHuman Resource Coordinator helps ensure consistent implementation of HRpolicies, procedures, and best practices. This position also providesadministrative support to the HR function, including maintaining employeerecords, managing personnel files, and ensuring accurate HRIS data entry.
PositionRequirements
• Education or certification in Human Resourceswill be a plus
• Minimum1 year of human resources experience
• Knowledgeof human resources processes and best practices
• Outstandingcommunication, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, withthe ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Effectivepresentation skills
• Abilityto handle confidential data with discretion
• Goodorganizational, time management, and workload management skills
• Detail-orientedwith the ability to use good judgment
• Computerliterate; skilled in automated HR information systems, MS Word, Excel, ande-mail
• Proficientin multitasking and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Takesinitiative and is a team player
• Demonstratesflexibility, adaptability, patience, and timely response to all requests
• Embracesthe diversity of our workforce and community and treats others with respect,without prejudice or bias
• Dependableattendance and punctuality; consistently reports to work on time prepared toperform duties of the position
• Ableto pass a criminal background check with the State of Washington and maintainclearance during employment
