Job description

Are you passionate about helping employees, ensuring compliance, and making Human Resources processes run smoothly? Luihn VantEdge Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focusedย Human Resources Generalist to join our growing HR team.

In this role, you'll serve as a key resource for employees and managers by administering leave of absence programs, coordinating ADA accommodations and workers' compensation processes, maintaining HR records, supporting compliance initiatives, and ensuring an exceptional employee experience. What You'll Do
  • Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, personal leaves, and return-to-work processes.
  • Serve as a primary resource for employee questions regarding Human Resources policies, leave administration, and other HR-related matters.
  • Coordinate with employees, managers, medical providers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators to support leave and accommodation processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and confidential documentation within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate leave coding, employee status changes, and payroll-related documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain Human Resources reports, compliance metrics, and workforce data.
  • Administer unemployment claims, employment verifications, and other employment-related documentation.
  • Support HR audits and maintain documentation for compliance reviews.
  • Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and follow-up communications involving employees, managers, and external partners.
  • Assist with HR training initiatives, employee communications, policy implementation, and continuous process improvement projects.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and service-oriented employee experience through responsive Human Resources support.
ย What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; equivalent Human Resources experience may be considered.
  • Two to five years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, hospitality, or other multi-unit environment.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, workers' compensation, and applicable leave laws.
  • Experience administering leave of absence programs, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality while exercising sound judgment and professionalism.
