The Dixon Group is looking for a Senior Human Resource Manager to join our team! The Senior HR Manager is essentially the driving force behind a company's workforce. While junior HR staff typically handle day-to-day administrative tasks, a Senior HR Manager focuses on the big pictureโ€”aligning the company's people strategy with its overall business goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in a cross-functional rotation, gaining hands-on experience and a deep understanding of every area within the department.
  • Manage and execute HR initiatives that directly support and advance organizational goals.
  • Assist in developing and driving effective recruitment and hiring strategies to attract top talent.
  • Serve as a trusted advocate and point of contact for employees, effectively managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs and manage leave requests.
  • Support performance evaluation processes to foster employee growth and accountability.
  • Manage HR systems, metrics, and reporting to ensure accurate data tracking and actionable insights.
  • Guarantee that all HR operations comply with current local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Actively promote our core values through all daily HR practices and employee interactions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability.ย 
  • Proven experience as an HR professional for 10 years, with a comprehensive understanding of HR principles and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, multi-state preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to do the work with a positive outlook.
  • People oriented and results driven.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Experience with HR systems (UKG preferred), metric and reporting.
  • Excellent active, listening, negotiation, presentation, and commutation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the business.
