Position Summary

If you enjoy owning the entire HR function, partnering directly with leadership, influencing business decisions, and making a visible impact every day, we'd love to meet you.
We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to lead all aspects of Human Resources for our growing manufacturing organization. This is an opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a department-of-one environment and enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day execution.
You will work directly with executive leadership to help shape our culture, support our employees, and build processes that strengthen our organization for the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the organization's primary HR resource and trusted advisor to leadership and employees.
  • Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Provide coaching/mentoring to leaders on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and employment law.
  • Lead employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgment, including workplace investigations and appropriate resolutions.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, leave administration, workers' compensation, and unemployment.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Own the integrity of the HRIS, employee records, reporting, and HR systems while continuously improving HR processes and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee communications.
  • Administer and continuously enhance the performance management process.
  • Coordinate employee training, engagement, recognition, and development initiatives.
  • Own the payroll function, including the administration and processing of bi-weekly payroll through ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all payroll-related processes.
What We're Looking For
  • Thinks like a business partner, not just an HR administrator.
  • Is comfortable making decisions independently.
  • Enjoys balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on execution.
  • Builds credibility through integrity, responsiveness, and sound judgment.
  • Takes ownership and follows through.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience with demonstrated success independently managing a comprehensive HR function or serving as the primary HR professional for an organization.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or operations environment strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, HR compliance, employment law, HRIS administration, leave administration, workers' compensation, and policy development.
  • Experience with an HRIS; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
What Success Looks Like
  • Build trusted relationships across the organization.
  • Be comfortable making independent decisions and solving problems.
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Demonstrate a mindset of continuous improvement while enhancing the employee experience.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to executive leadership.
Why Join Our Team?
  • Work directly with executive leadership.
  • Influence organizational decisions and culture.
  • Own the HR function with autonomy and support.
  • Make a meaningful impact on our employees, our culture, and the future of our organization.
  • We are looking for someone who leads with integrity, builds trust through relationships, and believes that great Human Resources is about supporting both people and business success.

If you're looking for an opportunity where your expertise, judgment, and ideas will be valued—and where you can make a lasting impact on both people and business—we encourage you to apply.
