About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a polished and organized HR Assistant to provide support to their HR team. This role involves handling a wide variety of administrative HR tasks, scheduling, and managing onboarding/offboarding processes.

Job Description:

The HR Assistant will support the HR team by managing administrative tasks, regulating the promotion process, and ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding procedures. This position requires strong organizational skills and a high level of confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records, both digital and hard copy.
  • Process HR documents such as employment contracts, new hire forms, performance evaluations, and termination paperwork.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and HR communications as needed.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist with job postings on internal and external platforms.
  • Screen resumes and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screenings and background checks.
  • Prepare onboarding documents and welcome packages for new hires.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Help employees understand benefit options and guide them through enrollment processes.
  • Assist with maintaining benefit records and coordinating with third-party providers.
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate timekeeping and changes to employee status (e.g., promotions, terminations, leaves).
  • Ensure HR processes and documentation comply with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Maintain I-9 documentation and assist in audits when required.

Qualifications:
